Fabior Treatment and Use
Fabior | tazarotene is a foam retinoid used to treat moderate and severe acne in patients older than 12 years of age. Severe acne vulgaris is characterized by large, long lasting lesions, such as nodules and pus-filled cysts. Fabior is part of the acetylenic class of retinoids. Retinoids are derivatives of vitamin A that can be natural or synthesized.
How does Fabior Work?
Fabior improves the texture of the skin using a compound that acts similarly to vitamin A. This medication encourages the body to renew skin cells in affected areas more quickly than normal.
Fabior Dosage Information
Use a gentle soap to wash the affected skin and wait for it to dry completely before using Fabior.
Apply Fabior in a thin layer over the affected area once a day during the evening. Wash your hands after using Fabior. Use moisturizer after the medication has dried to keep your skin hydrated.
Keep the medication away from your eyes, mouth, and other mucous membranes, such as the nostrils, ears, genitals, and anus.
