- Those with kidney disease, diabetes, or underactive thyroid should consult a doctor before taking Trilipix.
- If you suffer from liver disease, sever kidney disease, gallbladder disease, or allergies to fenofibric acid, you should not take Trilipix.
- Do not drink alcohol or eat food with high fat or cholesterol, as they can decrease the effectiveness of Trilipix and put you at risk for side effects, such as liver damage.
- Trilipix does not lower the risk of heart attack or stroke and should only be used for the treatment of high cholesterol or high triglyceride levels.

Trilipix accelerates the natural processes that expel cholesterol from the body, and decreases fatty substances in the blood, while increasing the amount of good cholesterol, or HDL.
Trilipix | Fenofibrate has been approved for the treatment of the following conditions when used in combination with a healthy diet, exercise, and the use of a statin medication
Although Trilipix lowers fatty substance levels in the blood, it has not been proven to effectively lower the risk of heart issues that can results from them.
