Antivert Treatment and Use
Antivert | meclizine is an antiemetic antihistamine medication that is used to treat the nausea and vomiting associated with motion sickness as well as treatment for Meniere’s disease, an inner ear disorder. This medication may also be given to decrease lightheadedness, vertigo, and dizziness, as well as to treat symptoms of conditions not indicated by the FDA.
How does Antivert work?
Though Antivert | meclizine is an antihistamine, it is usually not used for these properties. Instead Antivert is useful for its anticholinergic activity that counters the symptoms of nausea and vomiting that come with motion sickness.
