Doryx | Doxycycline Hyclate has the potential to be contraindicated in patients who’ve got a hypersensitivity to its component ingredients.  Tell your doctor if you’re allergic to Doxycycline Hyclate.  You should also know that there have been reports of benign intracranial hypertension in adults receiving tetracyclines.  If you’re pregnant or nursing, you should be aware of this drug as there have been instances of bulging fontanels being reported in infants receiving tetracyclines and there have been cases where fibula growth rates have impeded in infants. Avoid concomitant use with penicillins. As of yet there haven’t been any recalls initiated by either the manufacturers of this drug or one by the FDA.
