Natazia Treatment and Use
Natazia is a contraceptive for women, used to prevent ovulation. When used, Natazia enlists the help of female hormones to stop the user from ovulating, but it also makes it more difficult for sperm to enter the uterus or to fertilize an egg. It is used to prevent pregnancy.
Natazia is also given to treat excessive or heavy menstruation.
How it Works
Natazia contains two active ingredients: dienogest and estradiol. These are female hormones, and they work to stop the body from releasing an egg from the ovaries. Natazia also changes the mucus and lining of the cervical area, to impede sperm from traveling an egg and fertilizing it.
Dosing
Natazia is a pill, taken orally, once a day. It is important that the user take the pills in the exact order that they are prescribed. It is also advised that other forms of birth control, such as condoms, be used in conjunction with Natazia for maximum results.
