Prepopik | sodium picosulfate, magnesium oxide, and citric acid is approved for colon cleansing in adults who are preparing for a colonoscopy. Prepopik will be available to patients starting October 2012.
How does Prepopik work?
The sodium picosulfate in Prepopik is processed by bacteria in the colon. This helps the colon cleanse itself more effectively. The magnesium oxide and citric acid react with each other to cause water retention in the intestinal tract.
Prepopik Dosage Information
