Who Should Use Stendra?

should not be used by women or children or anyone who is

Stendra | avanafil is a PDE5 inhibitor medication approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in April 2012 and is marketed by Vivus Inc. for treating and reducing the effects of erectile dysfunction. Manufacturers claim that Stendra is different than other medicines of its class because it is a quicker acting remedy for the inability to keep an erection.
Stendra does not prevent the spread of sexually transmitted diseases.
How Does Stendra Work?
Erectile dysfunction occurs when the blood flow to the penis is constricted. Stendra works by stimulating and increasing the blood flow to the penis when aroused and helps to maintain an erection during sexual activity.
How to Use Stendra
Stendra comes in tablet form to be taken orally with a full glass of water. Stendra may be prescribed in 50 mg, 100 mg, and 200 mg doses. It is recommended to use the lowest dose possible for treating your condition. Patients should use Stendra on an as-needed basis 30 minutes before planned sexual activity. No more than one dose of Stendra should be taken in 24 hours.
If you have an erection lasting for longer than 4 hours, contact your doctor immediately as you may be at risk for serious harm or damage.
