Serious Adverse Effects

There are some serious adverse side effects associated with taking Travatan Z | Travoprost Ophthalmic:
  • Dermatological side effects such as increased eyelash formation and pigmentation changes in the application site of the eyelid, eyelash, and periocular skin
  • Ophthalmic side effects such as bacterial keratitis, iris color change, macular retinal edema, or irritation of the center layer of the eye

Less Serious Adverse Effects

More common adverse side effects are:
  • Ophthalmic side effects such as eye irritation, feeling of sand or foreign body in the eye, itching of the eye, excessive blood in the eye, pain in the eye, eyelid skin darkening, and reduced visual acuity
