- Those taking nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) should not take Trexall, as this combination can interfere with the body's absorption of certain chemicals, and result in liver or kidney toxicity.
- Patients who are pregnant, wanting to become pregnant, or breastfeeding should not take Trexall as this medication can cause serious side effects in nursing infants or unformed fetuses.
