Zegerid Treatment and Use
Zegerid | Omeprazole and Sodium Bicarbonate is a combination used to treat ulcers, as well as gastroesophageal reflux disease. Zegerid treats other conditions involving excess stomach acid. Zegerid is not used for relief from heartburn symptoms.
Dosage Information:
Do not take a dose larger or smaller than what your doctor recommends. Always take the amount that you are prescribed by your doctor. Take Zegerid on an empty stomach, within an hour of eating a meal. Take this medication with a full glass of water. Do not use any other type of liquid or food.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember that you forgot it. Do not take extra medicine or double dose.
