Serious Side Effects of Zmax

  • Taking Zmax can result in QT prolongation, which can cause in irregular heartbeat, dizziness or fainting. If you have a history of heart problems, have low potassium or magnesium levels, or are taking other drugs that effect the heart, your risk of QT prolongation is increased.
  • Signs of a serious allergic reaction include rashes, itchiness, swelling of the face, tongue, and throat, difficulty breathing, and acute dizziness.
  • Zmax may cause Clostridium difficile- associated diarrhea, which may not happen for weeks or months after the treatment has been taken. Symptoms include abdominal cramps, bloody stool, mucus in the stool, or constant diarrhea.
  • If you experience heart arrhythmia (irregular heartbeat), acute dizzies, or faint get medical attention imediately.
  • You may experience inability to heair, vision problems, problems speaking or swallowing or unusual weakness after taking Zmax.
  • Liver complications may also occur. Symptoms of this include unexplained tiredness, cconstant nausea or vomiting, acute abdominal pain, jaundice (yellowing of the eyes or skin), and dark urine.

Common Side Effects of Zmax

  • Prolonged or repeated use of Zmax may cause oral thrush or a yeast infection. If you experience white patches in the mouth or a change in vaginal discharge, talk to your doctor.
  • As with many antibiotics, Zmax may cause mild diarrhea, vomiting, constipation, upset stomach, abdominal pain.
  • Zmax may cause mild dizziness, headaches, tiredness, nervous feelings, trouble sleeping.
  • You may experience weakened sense of taste or smell and ringing in the ears.
