On May 6, 2013, The Compounding Shop issued a recall of all unexpired sterile products due to concerns on quality assurance after a recent FDA inspection.

Though there have been no reports of adverse side effects associated with the use of The Compounding Shop sterile products, the recall has been issued as a precautionary measure in the interest of the patients. Consumers of The Compounding Shop sterile products have been notified of the recall and asked to return the affected products.
