Avodart Treatment and Use
So, how does Avodart work? Avodart | dutasteride for BPH works by decreasing the amount of dihydrotestosterine produced in men. Dihydrotestosterone causes the prostate to increase in size, causing the symptoms associated with BPH. Over time, treatment with Avodart | dutasteride works to eventually shrink the prostate and relieve symptoms.
Avodart dosage
It is recommended that for adult males, the daily dose of Avodart is 0.5 mg, to be taken once daily with food. If treatment with tamulsin is indicated by a doctor, then the Avodart dose is recommended to be 0.5 mg with 0.4 mg of tamulsin.
