Buspirone Treatment and Use
Buspirone is an “anxiolytic” psychoactive drug which is primarily used to treat generalized anxiety disorder. Its drug classification is that of the azapirone chemical class and it first had FDA approval in 1986 for the treatment of generalized anxiety disorder.
