Copaxone | glatiramer injection is an immunomodulator made by the drug company Teva Neuroscience, Inc. that is used to treat the symptoms of relapse-remitting multiple sclerosis. This drug works by preventing the body from inflicting damage on its own nerve cells.
Copaxone comes in syringes that are pre-filled and are to be administered once a day subcutaneously, at the same time each day. Your doctor will give you your first dose of Copaxone, after which you will administer the medication yourself at home.
