Methocarbamol Treatment and Use
Methocarbamol | Robaxin, is a muscle relaxant used with physical therapy and rest to treat a variety of pains resulting from skeletal muscle injuries. These injuries include, but are not limited to, muscle strains, sprains, and spasms.
How Does Methocarbamol Work?
Rather than directly relaxing skeletal muscles, Methocarbamol relieves discomfort from musculoskeletal conditions by sedating the central nervous system through the blockage or slowing of pain impulses to the brain. This allows the muscles in the body to relax, which eases pain from muscle injuries.
