Penlac Treatment and Use
Penlac | Ciclopirox topical is an anti-fungal medication, used in the prevention of growth and spread of fungus. Ciclopirox is used to treat fungal infections such as athlete’s foot, ringworm, jock itch, and even yeast infections. Penlac is a nail lacquer used in the treatment of fungal infection of the toenails and fingernails.
How it Works:
The lacquer is applied daily before bedtime to the infected nails, and must be allowed to dry. The medication then works by fighting off fungus and preventing the growth of further fungal infection.
