- Zyvox should not be used if you have previously used or are currently using any MAO inhibitor medications.
- You should not start using any new medications while taking Zyvox, nor should you discontinue the use of any medications unless specified by your doctor.
- Avoid eating foods with high levels of tyramine, as these can dangerously raise your blood pressure.
- Zyvox has a received a pregnancy Category C, and it should not be taken while pregnant or breastfeeding without consulting a doctor. The effects of Zyvox on a newborn or nursing baby are unknown.
